Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recently made the announcement of renaming the MIPS performance category ACI to “Promoting Interoperability” For 2018 this is a change in name only; however this is just one of the indicators that CMS is seriously looking to increase the value of interoperability in the coming years. Quality Payment Program Year Two

CMS recently released the 2018 Medicare Quality Payment Program final rule.
